Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment designed to support skin health by stimulating the body's natural repair and renewal processes. Using a precision device with fine, sterile needles, the treatment creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin. This encourages collagen and elastin production, the foundation of smooth, firm, and healthy-looking skin.​ At Cosmetic Synergy, all microneedling treatments are performed by Registered Nurse Tara Hesp in our Paddington and Caringbah Clinics. ​
Purpose of Treatment​
Microneedling may assist in improving the overall condition and appearance of the skin by addressing:
- Uneven or textured skin
- Fine lines
- Large pores
- Dull or tired complexion
- Mild scarring (including acne-related marks)​
Individual results can vary. A treatment plan will be developed during your consultation to ensure it is appropriate and aligned with your skin goals.

What to Expect​
After your skin is cleansed, a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. A sterile, medical-grade microneedling device is gently passed over the skin in precise even movements.
You may feel a light scratching or vibration during treatment. Mild redness and warmth are common immediately after and generally settle within 24-48h.
Treatment time is typically around 30-60 min.
You will be given topical aftercare TR PRO post treatment.

Aftercare​
Following treatment, it's important to:
-Avoid makeup for 24h
-Avoid active skincare products 72h
-Keep the skin clean and protected from the sun
-Use only gentle, hydrating products recommended
Mild redness or flaking can occur a a few days as the skin renews, this is normal and temporary

Possible Side Effects
Microneedling is generally well tolerated. Temporary redness, swelling or mild sensitivity can occur. In rare cases, minor bruising, infection, or pigmentation changes may be seen. All potential risk and aftercare will be discussed in detail before treatment.
